MINDFULNESS
Karb's yogic path has led her to a deep practice and understanding of Mindfulness which she now brings to both her regular yoga classes with children, tweens, teens, adults and seniors as well as separate Mindfulness classes. She is a graduate of the Year-Long Certificate Program at Mindful Schools.
She has co-taught several courses at the Center for Child and Family Well-Being at the University of Washington: Finding Joy in the Present Moment, as well as, Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), along with Richard Berger, MD.
She has taught yoga and mindfulness at 2 Claps, 1 Snap, Billings Middle School, Eastside Prep, Community Fitness, Jane Addams Middle School, Lakeside - The Downtown School, The Northwest School, Sandpoint Elementary, Seattle School of Aikido, and has also co-led an Intro to Mindfulness course, along with Ann Hollar, M.Ed, at the University of Washington via the Pipeline Program and the UW Mindfulness Project.
